OneSocket Demo Update: New Tutorial, Narrative, and More!
Hi fellow horror game enthusiasts! OneSocket just released a major update, namely update V0.1! OneSocket is a point and click horror game where you have only one socket to keep you safe from the monster that is looming in the dark. Try to survive long enough for the code to be communicated to you and escape!
Here are some of the new features and improvements:
- New tutorial: Completely revamped the tutorial to make it more engaging and informative. You will learn the basics of the game and how to use the different mechanics. You will also meet one of the characters that will guide you through the game.
- New narrative: All gameplay now follows a narrative for you to get immersed and engaged in, stay tuned for more OneSocket lore!
- New visual style: Changed the sampler style, it is now more pixelated and also dithering!
- New monster: Monster is now more scary than before!
- New winning and losing scene: I have improved the winning and losing scene to make it more rewarding and satisfying. Right now there is only one ending but this could change in the future.
- Menus: Boring stuff! But there are now a total of 3 menus, including a main menu! wooo!
- Many bug fixes: I have fixed many bugs and glitches improved interactions, and just made the gameplay experience a lot nicer.
